Would you be able to advise me on the way to handle an appeal against a decision. Our application for continuing healthcare funding has been turned down, but we are appealing it. Any idea how long that may take?
Also, we have been told that we will have to pay all care home fees from now on and pay the outstanding balance back to when we applied for cont. care. This already amounts to £thousands, because the whole process has taken months to get this far. We read somewhere that during an appeal the NHS has to continue to fund the care home. So who is responsible for the fees?
